Nothing New

Studies coming out now keep repeating what we already know.

Covid was at first thought to be a respiratory illness, but we've known for a couple years now that it makes its home in the bloodstream giving it access to affect "cardiovascular, respiratory, neuropsychiatric, gastrointestinal, reproductive, and musculoskeletal systems," with persistent manifestations that can impact all cases. "Despite these crucial findings on Long Covid, the current diagnostic and therapeutic strategies based on previous experience and pilot studies remain inadequate." Another study of people between 26 and 64 found 85% of those with post-acute infection symptoms had significant cognitive dysfunction and depleted serotonin, and every mutation of this virus affects the brain. You can get infected within FIVE SECONDS of passing someone on the street. Yup, even outdoors.

There's just one study after another confirming what we've known for ages.

We have no cure - just prevention - and we also know that well-fitting N95s really work to significantly decrease the chance of getting or spreading it, but people are really tired of wearing them.

Back in the day, if you knew someone who smoked and wouldn't quit despite a horrible hacking cough that left them wheezing, we'd talk about cancer sticks, or tell them cancer cures smoking. Sometimes it would give them pause, and they could be hounded into quitting through the annoying concern of their friends. Now we've got "mask it or casket," but it doesn't carry the same weight when so many absolutely refuse to believe it. A prof recently thanked me for understanding that people in the class just can't wear masks anymore - it's so difficult for them - as we look into setting up ongoing Zoom accommodations! I'm so curious why so many people don't worry about their own brain function? Do they all just expect to continue to bet against the house and win over and over?

This video might help to show people how the virus spreads, and how to stop it in case it's possible they haven't heard yet:

The UK inquiry is bringing out so many lies, and New Brunswick's chief medical officer of health finally admitted that Covid is airborne, after first explaining how it can be spread through fomites (almost never), and in large droplet, and then small droplets that, yes, CAN BE AIRBORNE. And one woman took the CDC to task for their removal of masks in healthcare. It's less than 3 minutes and really impactful: (audio only)

The truth is being squeezed out of many of these officials bit by bit. But why did it take four years for people to begin to understand it, and now how do we get people to actually care before a beloved friend or family member dies.
